Must See Butze Rapids Park and Trail

Built-in 1992, Butze Rapids Park and Trail is one of the most popular trails and natural scenic sites in Prince Rupert. It can be accessed by a 5-kilometer easy going well-maintained, mostly chip-covered trail leading to a viewing platform that overlooks the rapids. It takes an average of 1 h 23 min to complete. It is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of the day. The best times to visit this trail are April through October.
